Welcome to the podcast series "The Haters Address" where the hate being expressed by people of all color, creeds, gender, sexual preferences and ethnic group will be addressed. No one is immune, if you've been drinking the hater-aide, you will be addressed.

The Associted Press published an article yesterday about a new book focusing on US President Abraham Lincoln. It starts off by saying that in 186, Lincoln held a conference with free blacks urging them to leave the U.S. and settle in Central America.

"For the sake of your race, you should sacrifice something of your present comfort for the purpose of being as grand in that respect as the white people," Lincoln said, promoting his idea of colonization: resettling blacks in foreign countries on the belief that whites and blacks could not coexist in the same nation. Lincoln went on to say that free blacks who envisioned a permanent life in the United States were being "selfish" and he promoted Central America as an ideal location "especially because of the similarity of climate with your native land — thus being suited to your physical condition."

In posting a link to the article "New book sheds new light on Lincoln's racial views", I commented "Wondering if Obama will be moving that bust of Lincoln, his favorite U.S. President out of the oval office. Also wondering how many Black Nationalist or Pan Africanist would agree with Lincoln's plan since it basically was a plan to establish an African American Nation."

One of the responces particulary stood out which led to this Hater's Address which will become a regular podcast with the intent of addressing the haters among us.

The comment read "Lincoln was speaking for most Whites even liberals at the time. He was just being honest. We have a slave mentality we depend on another race to provide for us it will take severing ties and looking beyond the plantation borders called the USA to free us one day."
