MTV is reporting that Erykah plead not guilty to disorderly conduct charges. Just how far is she going to take this publicity stunt? She claims stripping in public “was a move for women and men and children who feel they weren’t good enough,” Good enough for what? To show off their bodies publicly? Again, Erykah Badu is a music artist, she is not a psychologist and she can rationalize all she wants to justify her cheap form of “art” for herself and her fans, but she should stop acting as if she did this for some kind of greater good for the society. She is definitely no Dorothy Height.
