I Agree with Chairman Steele: African Americans Have No Reason To Vote Republican

This week RNC Chairman Micheal Steele spoke to 200 students at DePaul University where he was asked "Why should an African-American vote Republican?"


Steele's reply: “You really don’t have a reason to, to be honest — we haven’t done a very good job of really giving you one. True? True,”

I happen to agree with Chairman Steele, when you get past the talking points about patriotism, free-market economics, and blah, blah, blah, I can not think of a single reason I should vote for a Republican in my State of North Carolina nor do they have anything in their national platform that speaks to the issues that impact African-Americans the most.

I would challenge any tea bagger, right wing conservative or neo-con to give our listening audience one reason.
