Goals & Planning of a Learning Space (Start-Ups)

On our 1st show, our guest will be Dr. D. Russell Bailey, Library Director of Phillips Memorial Library+Commons at Providence College, located in Providence, RI.  Dr. Bailey is known for his extensive work in building and creating exemplary learning spaces within, and integrated with, libraries based on the Commons model.

We will discuss how Dr. Russell Bailey has created and implemented successful learning spaces in libraries over the past decade.  We will also discuss and share ideas and concerns about the process of creating a learning space and the intricacies that come along with it. We welcome and invite all callers to share their experiences, concerns and ideas relating to learning spaces.
