VEGAN VISION PRODUCTIONS CEO: JOANNE ROSE

This week’s OHMTG! bold & beautiful featured guest is Joanne Rose, the visionary founder and CEO of Vegan Vision Productions, creating original comedies for women - founded in 2008 in Los Angeles.  Joanne recognizes a need for more strong female leads in comedy with storylines centering on characters with an internal struggle who find inspiration to turn their lives around. Because that is Joanne’s story. While awaiting her break as an actor in Los Angeles, she decided to write, act and produce her own comedy projects.

Vegan Vision Productions first project was the multi-award winning US sketch comedy series, Vegan 101. The series launched online in 2009 and ran for 3 Seasons - featuring  highly exaggerated stories about vegans from all walks of life. Season 2 of Vegan 101 guest-starred Oscar-nominated actor, Eric Roberts with music by Keaton Simons and a special appearance from yours truly, MTG.  Five years after Vegan 101 launched, the series was sold to Comedy Central channels globally.
