AHOODENSEM: Obosom (Goddess) Yaa-Wadjet Weight-Loss and Ancestral Ritual
In this episode of ODWIRA, we examine AHOODENSEM, Health, in the context of weight-loss and Ancestral Ritual. The Obosom (Goddess) Yaa in Akan culture, also called Wadjet in our Ancestral culture of Khanit and Kamit (Nubia and Egypt), Oya in Yoruba and Avedji Da in Vodoun, is one of the Eleven Akradinbosom. The Eleven Akradinbosom are the Abosom (Deities) who animate the solar, lunar and planetary bodies governing the 7-Day week. Yet, they also govern the eleven major body systems within the Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) individual. The Obosom Yaa, governs the digestive system and the aspect of the respiratory system whose combined effects regulate the fuel of consumption and the fire of oxygenation. Aligning with the Obosom Yaa allows one to recalibrate diet, behavior and discipline.
Ahooden, health, in the proper context means to make our bodies instruments which resonate and reverberate the Divine Living Energy placed in us by Ra and Rait (Creator and Creatress). We have an Ancestral Religious values-based approach to diet, weight-loss and health overall. We do not submit to the emotional and financial exploitation of pseudo-health regimens promoted by the whites and their offspring.
