In this episode of EGUA - Marketplace our guest is Wabet Seshat SatHeru, authoress of the new book: WADJET YOGA: Understanding Serpent Power.

Wabet Seshat SatHeru will be giving a presentation on her book this Sunday, January 17th in Orlando, Florida. We examine the nature of her Ancestrally-inherited practice of Wadjet Yoga and the major themes of her book. An excerpt from her page:

"...The science of Wadjet is founded upon the ancient African understanding of the movement of energy through the body- the times, seasons, and systems through which power ebbs and flows in its cycles. By developing an experiential awareness of power and its cycles, it is possible to use them to their fullest capacity at all times, thus becoming a more effective human with the highest possibility of achieving your divine purpose. Yoga as a science in general has been divided into eight limbs or rays; in Wadjet these eight divisions are referred to as Seshen, or Lotuses. The original birthing of the Sun, the great Light, was said to have taken place on an eight-petalled lotus from which Ra stood up and began Creation. And through mastery of the eight Seshen, the practitioner of Wadjet can also develop his or her own inner light and rise to effect the Creation of his or her own reality..."
