Desirée Patno, Founder and CEO of NAWRB, the only national trade association representing women-owned businesses specializing in the housing economy. With more than 23 years experience in real estate services, Desirée brings “heels on the ground” knowledge to her mission of promoting women-owned businesses in the housing economy. Through NAWRB, she advocates for the increased utilization of women-owned businesses and mentors female entrepreneurs for future successful business ownership. Patno is one of the most visible advocates for women in the housing economy. She is a recipient of the 2012 Enterprising Woman of the Year award, 2012 WIPP Business Leadership Social Media Award and was recognized by HousingWire as one of the most influential women in housing in 2012. A California native, she has been married for more than 30 years and is the proud mother of four boys. Additionally, she was the only girl in an all-male water polo league in high school, professional dancer, swimmer, loves to collect ornate antiques, and is a bonafide fashion finder.
