After the recent events highlighting racial profiling apparently committed by high-end retailer Barneys, Jay-Z, who has a limited-edition accessory line with the store, has been called on to pull his business.

His response so far has been to withhold final judgement until he has all the facts.

This has sparked an interesting dialog as to whether or not Jay Z could, should or will disengage from the retailer.

We'll discuss, and will ask for your opinions, so call in!

Also, Funkmaster Flex has announced he is working on a new mixtape along with Queens upstart Action Bronson, and a slew of A-list producers.

We ask: Is Funk Flex even relevant anymore? Does Action Bronson benefit from this? And is this another example of Hot 97 pretending to support New York artists, but only when there is a financial incentive.

These discussions and whatever else come up, only on the true voice of New York hip hop community, The NY Hip Hop Report.
