This week we thought it would be a good idea to get some straight truth from a professional that works in a hostpital that is dealing with the current pandemic situation on a daily basis. We are pleased to welcome a Nurse Administrator who is seeing on a daily basis what is really going on. Toye Harvey is a professional nurse and book author with over 30 years experience as a senior nurse administrator at Los Angeles General Hospital. We wanted someone who could give us her observations not only as a professional as well as a culturally conscious member of our community. We got a chance to have conversations with her since the epidemic started and thought it would be a good idea to get some ground zero information without a media slant, agenda, or narrative. The situation is real and there are people who's lives have definitely been affected. What we want to get to is the truth and gauge the real nature of what we are dealing with from someone whos job is to see to the care, health and safety concerns of a staff of nurses as well as the patients. We invite questions and there will be frank and honest answers. You will want to know what is going on and where things may be headed. We will also have a segment dealing with the question of whether or not Blacks should arm and defend themselves. Tune in and turn on.
