Beginning February 6, 2014 at 3pm Eastern Standard Time, Indigenous Voices, a program of the United Religions Initiative - Global Indigenous Initiative, will air bi-weekly on NOWTIME Radio. Indigenous Voices will feature Indigenous artists, activists, wisdom keepers, and spiritual leaders. URI is a global grassroots interfaith network that cultivates peace and justice by engaging people to bridge religious and cultural differences and work together for the good of their communities and the world.

My guests will be: Alejandrino Quispe Mejia, Quechua, from Ayacucho, Peru. A professor of elementary education and social anthropology, Mr. Quispe is a member of the Amaru Cooperation Circle in Ayacucho, and co-convener of the GII.We thank Rachael Watcher for her translation services. Rachael is the Interim Regional Coordinator for URI Multiregion.
