Over a generation of court decisions in the Abbott v. Burke ligation have shaped school funding in New Jersey.  The state Supreme Court’s rulings and their impact on education and taxes stir the passions of both supporters and opponents.  On this program, Ray Pinney interviews Assemblyman Michael Patrick Carroll, an opponent of the court’s Abbott rulings which, he believes, enter an area that is the purview of the state Legislature.  Assemblyman Carroll, who represents the 25th district based in Morris County, is considered one of the Legislature’s most conservative and independent voices.
