Dale Lakata: Multi Talented Singer, Songwriter, & Renaissance Woman

To say that Dale Lakata is a Singer, Songwriter, and Guitarist only paints a small part of her picture. This Renaissance Lady is involved in various projects and collaborating with many people. She’s the lead vocalist of the Dale Lakata Band, acted in the movie The Soulless, Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist at the Clarity Project, composer of the soundtrack for a sci-fi series Hunter – and that’s just for starters. In addition to having Dale, we’re fortunate to be joined by two of her current collaborators. Ingrid Heldt is a singer songwriter from the Jersey Shore, VP of the NJ Friends of Clearwater, runs the Circle of Song, and along with Dale, is part of the Clarity Project a new acoustic folk/gospel/pop influenced group. Ingrid Heldt knew the legendary Pete Seeger for over ten years and sang with him, she estimates, over a hundred times. The second of Dale’s collaborators is Raphael Serebreny, who is the writer and director of the soon to be released sci-fi series, Hunter. It’s about a teen who learns she isn't an ordinary girl; in fact she is not an ordinary human -- she is a highly developed life form, or artificial intelligence, an asset for the government. Another notable member of the Hunter crew includes Raheem Brock, a former defensive end who played in the National Football League.
