As National Pain Awareness Month nears an end, U.S. Pain Foundation will host an hour-long meeting for the pain community on Monday, September 26, 2011 at 2:30pm PST / 5:30pm EST. We are viewing this open-dialogue chat as a healing session, a time where all of us can come together to talk about our lives. Nicole Hemmenway will be moderating the conversation. It is our goal to focus the discussion around:
While we all may not have the same diagnosis or disability, the pain and emotional heartache we feel is universal. Each of us endures the same frustration, shame and despair … just as each one of us possesses the same internal strength and desire to find answers. We must remember that a special bond unites us – by coming together, we inspire, empower and teach one another. Each of us has a story and a gift. As Nicole says, “we are all survivors.”
Come join the conversation next Monday at 2:30pm PST / 5:30pm EST.
