Today's Guest: Jamie Brown the Credit MD

Jamie Brown is the Chief Executive Officer for Brown’s Consulting Service (BCS).

In 1995 Jamie applied for credit and was advised by the potential credit granter that a collection account was appearing on her credit file. Since Jamie knew that she always maintained excellent credit she set out to find the culprit. Jamie discovered that some other person’s $40,000 debt was appearing on her report.

Jamie wrote to each of the credit bureaus. To her surprise the bureaus replied and removed the $40,000 collection account. This was so intriguing to Jamie that she started studying The Fair Credit Reporting Act and The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Soon thereafter, Jamie took this wealth of knowledge and started a business. The results Jamie achieved for these clients were outstanding. Jamie realized there was a huge demand for this kind of service and expertise.

In 2001 Jamie Brown decided to leave corporate America to create her counseling service. Jamie is passionate about helping people and giving them hope through solid economic profiles. Before BCS, Jamie Brown’s occupation was in Financial Services, Management and Sales. Jamie is affectionately known as the “Credit MD” for her unique ability to determine, repair and prevent credit dilemmas for clients nationwide. http://www.bcseasy.com/
