Back like she never left, it's our favorite African American History Professor, Author, and Speaker. She has a number of degrees from Univeristy of Iowa, University of Detroit and Hampton University in African American Studies, Political Science, etc.
This year, with "State of Race 2016", we'll cover: perspective of how close we are to a post-racial society compared to one year prior, the Academy Awards firestorm, and a conclusive summary of the Barack Obama administration including what it meant for the nation, what it meant for African Americans, and how we can possibly keep the momentum going when he's no longer President.
