Designer, Stylist, Photographer and innovator are the descriptions that come to mind when thinking of New York’s own Briian Dargon. When not standing behind a camera capturing the raw beauty of everyday life on film, Briian is behind a needle and thread fabricating a one of a kind creation that inhibits humor, character and individual style.
Briian’s fashion company, BSIXTEE6, is not some fantastical story of rags to riches, it simply came from him being invited to a party and not having enough money to buy something fly.
Not having a background in fashion but with an eye for color and detail, he got a little creative and designed a tee shirt that received rave reviews from a couple of people at the function who then proceeded to offer money for his designs.
In the years since, BSIXTEE6 has been featured in several publications such as Japanese Vogue and a few music videos including Hip Hop Artist Fat Joe’s “Lean Back” video.
“I am in love with what I create and I hope that love comes thru in what I create, I am humbled everyday by the fact that the clients I have acquired appreciate the joy and commitment that goes into each individual piece and that each piece purchased reflects a part of their personality”, Briian states with passion.
