New Mantles - Part 3

Welcome to the Best is Yet to Come with Pastor Brad Morgan. This week's message continues the teaching about God releasing new mantles in people's lives.  The word mantle means an important role or responsibility that passes from one to another. God releases a "mantle" for people to give people an opportunity to gain leadership and begin walking in a new assignment.

The new mantles are not just limited to one thing in particular. One example of the release of a mantle was in 2 King 2:9-22 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2+kings+2%3A9-22&version=NKJV). God took Elisha from the position of being a follower to the position of being a leader. Elisha got a promotion from the back to the front. Elisha had a mantle released because of his association with Elijah. Association can cause a new mantle. Loyalty to leadership can also cause a new mantle to be produced by God.

A new mantle may bring change into your life. You may lose friendships, you may be rejected by others. But God's truth will speak to your mantle. God will use you to have an effect on others through your new direction.

God places people in locations. He places people in a local Church. Psalms says if we are planted in the house of the Lord we will flourish in the courts of our God. We need to be planted in local Churches under Godly leadership.

God in this season wants to release new mantles in people's live - people that want to follow leadership and walk with God.
