Please join us and our guest, Gary Gach, for a show on Mindfulness: Good Medicine in Confounding Times.

These days, it seems as if everything is calling itself mindful. Gary will unpack for us what we talk about when we talk about mindfulness. (Free nirvana.)

Gary Gach has been meditating and writing for nearly 60 years, and is just getting started. His work has been published in numerous magazines and anthologies, including BuddhaDharma, Harvard Divinity Bulletin, The Nation, The New Yorker, Technicians of the Sacred, Tricycle, and Yoga Journal.

His Complete Idiot's Guide to Buddhism has proven a bestseller, and more recently he's published Pause ... Breathe ... Smile ~ Awakening Mindfulness When Meditation Is Not Enough.

His anthology What Book1? ~ Buddha Poems from Beat to Hiphop was honored with an American Book Award from the Before Columbus Foundation.

He currently furnishes a poetry segment for the Bob Thurman Podcast. He's been hosting a weekly Zen mindfulness practice group for nearly a decade in San Francisco, and is lay-ordained in the Plum Village Community of Engaged Buddhism. His home page is GaryGach.com
