She's the General Manager of the Black Rock Art Center in Bridgeport, CT, a non-profit performing arts organization. At 31 years old, Melissa has been able to identify and pursue her dream career--- arts management. Melissa will discuss her challenges as an undergraduate, through her early jobs and volunteer work, and her decisions to earn her MBA and to move back to improve the arts scene at home.
