The Mount Washington Cog Railroad, once derisively called "Railway to the Moon," has been in continuous operation since 1986. The line climbs the tallest peak in the northeast in little over an hour, then completes the journey in a few minutes less. Still powered occasionally by steam engines almost a century old, the cog is a key cog in the tourist economy of New Hampshire. Hear all about it from co-owner Sue Presby when she visits TRAVEL ITCH RADIO Thursday August 24 @ 8p EDT. She'll be interviewed by host Dan Schlossberg and co-host Priscilla Ann Willis. Listen live on iTunes or BlogTalkRadio.com.
