Jeff opens the scriptures to give the Believer better understanding of an important set of passages that are often misunderstand. He examines what is meant by being "known by the Lord," and how we can order our lives and heart so we hear Him say, "Well done my good and faithful servent" and not hear the dreaded words, "I never knew you."
He studies various scriptures which contrasts walking through His open door of invitation with a closed door---where some will be left out forever when He shuts and locks His door. The foundational verses are Matthew 7: 21-23:
"21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
