of food are grown via technical methods and agriculture.  At the same time, we have large expanses of desert in some areas.  What could these two have in common?  Could one thing be the solution to both?  And could desert be changed into green areas?  Diane Brandon, your Host and Author of Intuition for Beginners, is joined this week by Larry Korn, Teacher, Permaculture Expert, and Editor of Sowing Seeds in the Desert by Masanobu Fukuoka.  Mr. Korn studied under Mr. Fukuoka, who was able to grow large amounts of food using very unconventional methods that he referred to as “natural farming.”  What is natural farming and how could you employ the technique yourself?  And could it actually help to turn deserts into green areas?  This is a great approach supplying hope for the future!
