With all the news coming out about environmental impacts and problems, many industries have been rethinking the ways in which they are doing things.  The construction industry is also slowly doing this.  New homes continue to be built and, as it turns out, there are many ways in which houses can be built more sustainably and naturally.  Could you use any of these ideas – and could they apply not just to new houses but also to existing ones?   Diane Brandon is joined this week by Jacob Deva Racusin, Co-Owner of New Frameworks Natural Building and Co-Author of The Natural Building Companion.  Mr. Racusin is at the forefront of  updating building techniques to make them greener and shares many tips on how your house can be built and designed more naturally.
