Can We Continue to Grow Indefinitely?–A Vision of Our Future

We’ve been conditioned to feel over the years that we (and our economy) could continue to grow indefinitely.  In fact, it would appear that our economy is built upon growth.  However, is continual growth possible – and is it even desirable?  What pressures do we have upon us in the world these days, and what do these pressures imply about our future?  Is there a way to meet the world’s needs and have a healthy world and environment?  Diane Brandon is joined this week by Chris Martenson,  PhD.,  a former Vice President of a Fortune 500 company  and author of The Crash Course.  Mr. Martenson  has gone through a dramatic transformation, partly based upon his research into the problems facing us in the world these days.  He’ll share where he feels that we’re headed and what we need to do.
