On today's NativeTalk.net radio podcast, Cliff & Brandon welcome both our sister Brittany and our mother (who both happen to be accredited elementary school teachers) to the show to discuss the rising costs of a university education, and the steps Idaho State University has taken to reduce tuition costs for their Native tribes from $3,700 a semester down to just over $700 in total. We also go into the education system in general and all share various thoughts on the subject. Overall, a very good and entertaining discussion, which you can hear right now by downloading the audio file or playing it through your favorite podcasting app.

Then, Cliff discusses his recent trip to Kwethluk Alaska where he had a meeting with the tribal council of the Organized Village of Kwethluk, as well as other unrelated experiences up there. We recorded the story in full, however due to length (Brandon apparently fell asleep during the telling) we've broken it up into various segments we'll play over the next few weeks. Today - Facts about Alaska. Learn interesting things you never knew about our 49th state, and hear Cliff's impressions that will make you want to book a ticket on Alaskan airlines pretty much immediately. We hope you enjoy listening to the audio file, and as always you can comment through the facebook page, send an email, or call in and leave a message at 970-278-5791 and we'll be back next week with more great stories and information!
