Revolutionary War Brothers-Soldiers of Color in the Revolutionary War

Host Anita Wills sheds light on some of the Soldiers of Color in the Revolutionary War. July 4th, is a holiday that holds significance for many Americans. It is Independence day, freedom from Colonist, under the Yoke of Great Britain. However, it meant little to the slaves whose labor was used to build America. Yet there were Soldiers of Color, who fought in the Revolutionary War, and this weeks show is dedicated to these Revolutionary brothers, The Pinn family; Rawley, his brother, Robert, his sons; John, James and Billy Pinn, who fought at the Siege of Yorktown. Brothers Charles and Ambrose Lewis, were Free Blacks in Virginia. The brothers were Sailors and Soldiers in the Revolutionary War, and fought at the Battle of Camden SC. They are the Revolutionary War Soldiers whose names are not in the history books. Tonights show is dedicated to these brave warriors. Tune in and Listen Up!!
