She was surrounded by legendary activists in her own living room as her father would host meetings while her mother prepred  meals for such greats as Huey P. Newton, Bobby Seale and others.  A. J.'s parents planted the seeds that harvested into her destiny to creatively resurrect the Ancestors through the visual medium of illustrated history books.
