Host: Robin Carneen Guest Co-Host:Tara Pretends Eagle Leonard Peltier's response to Parole Denial: PRESS RELEASE:For Immediate release Leonard Peltier Defense Offense Committee Yesterday, the United States Parole Commission denied, Native American Activist, Leonard Peltier parole, after serving 33 years, for the murders of 2 FBI Agents, that occurred in a shootout on the Pine Ridge Reservation. Peltier had his full parole hearing on July 28, 2009 at the Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary, as a 64 year old, great-grandfather, in poor health who is a six-time Noble Peace Prize nominee & a philanthropist who raises both awareness & money selling his painting for Native American causes. Leonard Peltier’s Attorney, Eric Seitz’s response to the U. S. Parole Commission’s denial of parole: ”The Bush Administration holdovers on the U.S. Parole Commission today, adopted the position of the FBI that anyone who may be implicated in the killings of its agents should never be paroled and should be left to die in prison.
