Tonight's special guest is Dr. Pamela Pine, PhD, MPH, from Maryland, founder and CEO of Stop the Silence: Stop Child Sexual Abuse, a non-profit, charitable 501(c)3 organization, with a Mission to expose and stop child sexual abuse and help survivors heal worldwide. She is also a public health professor. Pamela has been an international health, development, and communication professional throughout her adult life who has worked worldwide focusing on enhancing the lives of the poor and otherwise underserved and on issues as broad and diverse as leprosy, tropical diseases, HIV, TB, maternal and child health, childhood vaccination, reproductive health/family planning, and economic development. For the past 20 years, her primary focus has been on the prevention, treatment, and mitigation of child sexual abuse (CSA) and other adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). She has also been a multi-media artist throughout her life, working in oils, watercolor, pastel, clay, song, and the written word (she is a published, best-selling author), which she also uses in her work to raise awareness and open hearts and minds toward action. Pamela is the architect of a child trauma mitigation model, and also a unique online Certificate to Master's Degree Program in Child Trauma and Protection (2023).
