SPECIAL TOPIC Night - "Examining Institutional Abuse" with special co-host Dr Jill Jones-Solderman (PhD, MSW, MSHS), a NAASCA family member. ~~ TONIGHT'S TOPIC: “Kidnapping Kids in Arizona's Department of Children and Safety (DCS)" ~~ For ten years Arizona's seizure of children has continued to grow, even when child populations in placement environments have decreased significantly over the years. The appetite for cash derived from seizure of children, facilitated by warrantless seizures through police maneuvers, has been carried out silently. Crimes against vulnerable children and poor families has allowed the flourishing of a system of fraud and foster farming that has been perfected by bureaucratic shams. Rick Manuel, tonight's guest, has spent years aggressively pursuing the maze that constitutes institutional abuse. His impact on the system that involves uncovering the illegal non-profit organizations that advertises 'Kids for Adoption' funnels them into foster 'care' and endless services paid through Federal funding to the state is nothing less than heroic. Please see: 'America's Taken Children' ~~ NAASCA knows "institutional abuse" is rampant, worldwide, and dramatically effects childhood experience of our youth, frequently causing trauma that lasts a lifetime. Many issues of child abuse involve dealing with the courts and law enforcement, foster care, child protection services, CASA and CAC organizations, etc. Jill's experience with her Foundation for Child Victims of Family Courts and her US Whistleblower effort uniquely position her to speak to these issues.
