UR Charities, Inc. mission is to assist children and adults who have special needs or developmental disabilities by providing adaptive equipment, such as, closed captioning, sign language interpreting and hearing aids for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, seeing eye dogs for people who are blind, tutoring and other resources for people who have autism, down syndrome, Asperger syndrome.

Lynda has always wanted to help people and she had an aha moment while attending a life changing conference and realizing that there was no technology being used to help someone who might be deaf, blind or have other special needs.
