This Evening on Mz. OptimiZm Speaks to Power Visionaries Sabrina Lamb and Anita Jarman

Sabrina is the best-selling author of “Have You Met Miss Jones? The Life & Loves of Radio's Most Controversial Diva?” (Random House). Sabrina was named 16th on the list of 50 Top Black Women in Entertainment in Black Noir magazine. She has written cover stories for Essence, Heart and Soul and Black Elegance on subjects including from Gladys Knight, The Evolving Black Church, Why Women Love Bad Boys to Surviving The Holidays with Your Family. Sabrina was featured twice in Essence magazine and was the columnist to Black Elegance Magazine's He Say/She Say column. She is the recipient of the Rainbow Push/Wall Street Project Honors. Sabrina was designated as New York 1 Television’s “New Yorker of the Week” and a member of Who’s Who in Black New York. Sabrina has also been nominated for the following awards: Pine Sol’s “Women Making A Powerful Difference” Award, Jumpstart Coalition’s “William E. Odom Visionary Leadership Award” & Tom Joyner’s Hardest Working Community Leader. Founder and CEO of A-Game Public Relations, Anita C. Jarman is a budding publicist in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Born February 7, 1987, she pursued Communications & Law during her collegiate career as a Delaware State University Hornet. While at DSU, Anita became intensely involved within the campus community; serving as the Chief of Staff for Student Government, contributing writer for the ‘Mass Comm. Minute,’ host of two radio shows for WDSU ‘The Hive,’ while actively participating in Greek organizations Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc & Alpha Chi Honor Society.
