April is Sexual Abuse Awareness month. This program will give voice and support to the growing number of women and girls who have been revictimized from sexual abuse with multiple attacks of rape. Victimized women and girls need to know that they are NOT Damaged Goods! These women and girls need to recover and heal! This kick off episode will offer empathetic listening and encouragement for victims as well as for those who care about them. FEATURED GUESTS INCLUDE: DIANE CHAMPE and KIMYON ZARI. Diane Champé is a child sexual abuse survivor who was isolated and mentally, physically, emotionally and sexually abused the first 21 years of her life. Ms. Champé was diagnosed with Major Clinical Depression, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) (formerly Multiple Personality Disorder). She spent 11 of her 23 years in therapy integrating about 20 alters into one. She is now dedicating the rest of her life to educate and advocate for child abuse survivors.
