myQmunity.com is a website focused on sharing events, activities and information with the LGBT community. This show focuses on interviews with authors of Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual and Transgender literature. Robert Jaquay, the host of the show, is a retired Public Library Director who moved to the Tampa Bay area two and a half years ago from the cold Northeast. As well as working in the world of books for over 38 years and being an avid reader, he has served on the American Library Association’s GLBT Stonewall Book Awards Committee, written several book review columns, and hosted a Pubic Access Television program called “Getting to Know You”, which focused on the Arts in New York’s Capital Region. He currently writes the weekly LGBT Book Column Read Any Good Gay and Lesbian Books Lately? for http://www.MyQmunity.com. Besides books, he is a lover of Theatre, Film, Art and Music (being a self-professed Opera Queen), and is excited about sharing his views on all of the above.
