We're talking with DecorGirl Lisa Smith about her roof garden to find out the real-deal of putting a garden on top of your house.

The romance and earth-friendly appeal of a roof garden can bump up against practicality of installation, maintenance, and those little surprises that we haven't yet thought of yet.

So last month, when we saw a blog post about living with a roof garden, we were hooked. We've always been fascinated by garden roofs, and had to know more.
