After graduating high school in 2003, Kimberly attended two years of college at Sussex County Community and one semester at Montclair State University before enlisting in the Marine Corps. Her decision to enlist came from a desire to serve. Kimberly also has a family history of military. Kimberly was stationed in Yuma, AZ as an Aviation Supply Specialist for her entire enlistment. During her time in service, Kimberly finished her bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with a concentration in education.

Upon her honorable discharge in 2010, Kimberly again went back to school. She received her second Bachelor’s in English and immediately enrolled in Graduate school. She is graduating with her Masters in Teaching English and Students with Disabilities in May 2015.

Kimberly has a 2-year-old daughter, Emily, with her husband Michael Wolfanger, Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient. They reside in Pequannock, NJ.  In her downtime, Kimberly loves to lift weights, hike, read and sing.
