Born in Quezon City on the island of Luzon in the Philippines, Tracy Cruz’s alluring voice is comprised of sounds old and new. While resembling Jill Scott’s throaty moans and Sarah Vaughan’s lyrical accentuation, she still manages to have a distinct sound all her own. Her vocal range stretches from unbelievable lows to soprano highs. Tracy pulls from her thriving passion of Filipino ballads, which she blends with the influence of her former vocal coach, Ledisi.

Her music hinges on heartless dissonance and jolting hope. It represents a magnificent blend of polarities. It’s like a kaleidoscope with her many sides beautifully presented. Her song lyrics and musical production will take you on an excursion, intended to resonate with all who experience it.

While in college, Tracy met future producer, now husband, Allen Ross. This union has produced 2 children, 2 full-length albums, and an EP. Tracy has collaborated with and performed with the likes of Sy Smith, Slim of 112, Martin Luther, Jaguar Wright, and many others. She has accumulated national recognition with her album "Feel'osophy" including Muse Awards for “Best R&B CD Project of 2008”, “Best Lyrics by a Female”, and “Best R&B Single by a Female.” Her sophomore album "Universoul Symphony" was on the UK Soul Chart for 14 weeks, Danceteria's Phat 50 Chart in the Netherlands for 12 weeks and DJ Sly's (Bang Radio 103.6 FM) Full Top 30 Chart for 12 weeks. She is currently #3 on the UK’s Soulwalking Top 20 Chart and #1 on Rio de Janeiro’s Black Beat Barsil Top 10 Chart.
