We have two guests for the show tonight!

In the first half of the show, we'll be talking with Rev. Carol Howard Merritt, the award-winning author of Tribal Church: Ministering to the Missing Generation (Rowman and Littlefield) and Reframing Hope: Vital Ministry in a New Generation (Rowman and Littlefield) and a frequent contributor to books, websites, magazines, and journals. She is a regular columnist at the Christian Century where her blog, “Tribal Church,” is hosted. She’s a Presbyterian (USA) minister whose writing, speaking, and teaching is anchored in theological and sociological insight. Carol will be talking with us about how corporate personhood conflicts or complements Christian, and broadly spiritual, notions of personhood.

In the second half, we will talk with Libby Carr, a long-time activist and the campaign manager for WAmend, a coalition of grassroots organizations (including several local MTA groups) who believe that unlimited and anonymous money has corrupted our political system. Libby will be talking about WAmend's efforts in Washington State in calling for an amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
