The offense has the potential to be pretty good with Montel Aaron very likely being the starting quarterback and showed signs of promise in the running game with Tyler Nevens and they have one of the best tight ends in Josh Oliver.
Also what will be key is if the offense doesn't give up the ball over 40 times, so if they can cut that down then that should help the Spartans be more competitive.
