Motown Maurice's Hustle & Shuffle welcomes Alex P. Michaels, an Emmy winning writer from Cleveland, Ohio. He has been writing and creating characters since he was in grade school. While others dream of going to Hollywood, Alex’s dream has been to create movies in his hometown. He created a production company Prelude2Cinema which has produced feature films and a TV series “Out of Darkness” which Alex produced, directed and acted in.

Alex also found local sponsors to pay to have their business in the series which premiered nationally on the Dish network and is now for sale on Amazon. After the TV series, Alex was burned out, so he took some time off to work on personal endeavors. He bought a house and gained a producing partner Bryant Anderson. Alex helped produce two shorts by Mr. Anderson and Alex is acting in the short “A Day of racism” which will be out early in 2012. Alex has grand plans for Prelude2Cinema in 2012 as well. He plans to create an online TV station and help other independent filmmakers to find an audience.
