Think Outside the Propaganda

What we are told day by day, news on tv, newspapers, online media outlets, that get bought and sold ( NY Times, Huffington Post ). What are we to hold on to? Who can stand up to the Wealthy Powers for us? Definately not the popular newsrags. The main news that I stay with is Democracy Now. It's a non prof, so I trust the reporting and the boots on the ground. Otherwise the news is vulnerable to"sponsers" and politics, which seem to be one and the same. How do we look askance  at this propaganda?
