This episode of Project Management Mondays will cover the scope management knowledge area’s first two processes : PMBOK 5.1 plan scope management and PMBOK 5.2 collect requirements. Scope is one of the triple constraints (scope, cost and time) and the cornerstone of project management. PMBOK 5.1 contains two subsidiary project management plans: scope management plan and requirements management plan. In addition, there is the scope baseline containing the project scope statement, work breakdown structure (WBS) and WBS dictionary. PMBOK 5.2 covers the importance of collecting requirements.
