Let's make April 18th International M.A.T.H. Day!!

I am very adamant that we make April 18th International M.A.T.H. Day 

 

Tonight's co-hosts: Kathleen Moore, Founder of the Army of Angels and Michelle Bart, President & Co-Founder National Women's Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation (NWCAVE). 

 

Special guests: Dottie Laster, Founder of Laster Global Consulting; and Cassandra Clifford, the Founder & Executive Director of Bridge to Freedom Foundation. 

 

We will also be talking to Shauna Newell, human trafficking survivor; and Bryn Barton, mother of sex trafficking survivor, Kristi Merrill. 

 

Also, hopefully another unconfirmed, but invited guest: Psychiatrist Dr. Dale Archer. 

 

I came up with that name one day, at the same time that another mother of a human trafficking victim, Lisa Brant, did. 

 

Lisa is the mother of Shauna Newell, who is a survivor of human trafficking, having been rescued and saved just before being taken out of the country, at which time, it would be likely she would not have been seen again, at least not any time soon. And many of you know I am the mother of Jessie Foster, missing for over 7 years, since March 29, 2006. 

 

Lisa and I were chatting on Facebook on April 18, 2010 and we sent each other a message that pretty much crossed paths with each other. The point of both messages was the same … we both thought there needed to be an organization called M.A.T.H. which is the acronym for Mothers Against Trafficking Humans.
