What do you want to be when you grow up? Remember that question? There was a time when adults would ask every child in range that question. Why do you think they did that? Back then, adults knew the importance of having dreams and setting goals. Asking a child about their dreams and aspirations was a way to show support and involvement as well as a way to help the child stay focused on building a FUTURE. Today, young people’s dreams have been laughed at more times than they have been supported, by their peers and by adults. On today’s show, we will discuss THE DREAMs and show support for it. We hope that everyone is listening because we want to offer resources to young people who are looking to fulfill their dreams. Adults, we have to live by example. So, let’s continue to ask the young people about their goals and dreams and let’s keep encouraging them to start working towards their FUTURE… today.
