Welcome to the Learning To Forgive Radio Series 14-Day Challenge Days 3 & 4 on "Decide Who Needs-And Deserves-Your Forgiveness."

Opening Scripture: Matthew 18:21-22 (NKJV) - "Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."

During this show I will teach you a strategy to begin your forgiveness of others journey that you can do in the privacy of your own home or space. This is a list making strategy which includes writing the names and any or all of the following:

  • Your parents
  • Other close family members or caregivers
  • Childhood and or teenage friends and or bullies
  • Teachers or authority figures
  • College friends, neighbors, professors, etc
  • Anyone in your professional life

I encourage you to take your time on this list. For each person you write down, ask yourself - "What was said or done, specifically?"

Personal Growth Tip: If you’re struggling to name specific people, don’t forget that you can also forgive situations, such as “When I felt unsupported by the members of my work team.”

Closing Scripture: Matthew 18-21-22 (The Message Bible) - "At that point Peter got up the nerve to ask, “Master, how many times do I forgive a brother or sister who hurts me? Seven? Jesus replied, “Seven! Hardly. Try seventy times seven."
