Ayanna Nahmias is the publisher and editor of The Nahmias Cipher Report, an online publication
dedicated to human rights issues. She is a frequent public speaker, and her writings have appeared
in the National Monitor, Huffington Post, The Forward, and The American Spectator. She was
interviewed by Jonathan Groubert on The State We’re In: Radio Netherlands Worldwide (NPR)
about her life as the daughter of a Pan-Africanist Muslim. An American by birth, she grew up in
Nigeria and Tanzania, and currently resides in Harare, Zimbabwe and Arlington, Virginia.
