Ted Kretzschmar, Founder of 50 State Security

50 State Security Service, Inc. founder, Ted Kretzschmar, is extremely proud of the company’s 42 year heritage in Miami-Dade County.  One of the most technologically advanced security companies in the nation, North Miami-based 50 State has watched the community grow from a sleepy beach town to one of the globe’s preeminent international destinations. Throughout the years, 50 State has always been true to Kretzschmar’s vision of serving the evolving security needs of this vibrant community.

Kretzschmar’s roots within both security and our community run deep. He began working in law enforcement in 1958, rapidly moving through the ranks of the Metropolitan Dade County Sheriff's Department in Miami.  By the time he founded 50 State in 1971, Kretzschmar had a thorough understanding of not only law enforcement, but of true customer service.
