“Dashama is the Anthony Robbins of Yoga” ~Gail Marino, co-creator of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. A creative dynamo in her field, Dashama is a multimedia producer with videos, books & DVDs featured on Oprah.com, Walmart.com, Barnes&Noble.com, Target.com, and more. She is a Youtube phenomenon, with an online TV channel of 8 million viewers! Dashama developed Pranashama Yoga (The Prasha Method) from years of personal practice and training with some of the greatest masters of our time. She is also credited as one of the innovators in the field of Stand Up Paddle Boarding to create the fusion Paddle Board (SUP) Yoga.
The Prasha Method is a fusion yoga style and life transformation system designed to help you heal, strengthen, tone and balance your body, become balanced in your emotions and clear any blocks to accessing your highest life potential. Dashama has been featured with and speaks on expert panels at conferences with luminaries such as Dr. Wayne Dyer, Byron Katie, David Wolfe, Dr. Cousins, Dr. Brian Clement and Jason Mraz. In her early years working with Russell Simmons’ DefCon3, it was his work with inner city youth and her personal life challenges that inspired Dashama’s many philanthropic partnerships.
Over the years, she has received notable accolades: becoming a top 1% finalist from 20,000 auditions to have her OWN show on the Oprah Winfrey Network, being awarded Student of the Year at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), nominated for Power 30 Under 30 Award, consulting/speaking for global brands like Sony Motion Picture Studios, Waldorf Astoria Resort, Coral Springs Medical Center, and University of Virginia Darden College of Sustainability.
