I want you to imagine being asleep in your home, in your bedroom, with your wife at your side. This is the home that you pay for, you work to maintain, and you take pride in controlling what happens in your home.

I want you to imagine being awakened in the middle of the night by one of your children, and told that there are funny noises coming from your daughter's bedroom. At first you think nothing of it, but the child walks in again, and is told that the noises appear to be louder and louder.

You get up, grab your gun, because you are not sure what is going on in your daughter's bedroom. You walk in, and your daughter (who is a teenager in high school), is in the middle of having sex with a boy that you did not welcome through your front door, and in a sense, who is disrespecting the home you work so hard to maintain.

What do you do?

Two weeks ago in Houston, a man was awakened by his son, because his son saw someone sleeping in his older sister's bed with her. The father of the girl, walks into the room with a gun, and the girl claims she does not know the boy. The father tells him not to move, but the boy moves, and the man shoots and kills the boy.

Over reaction, or the risk of disrespecting another man's home?

I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
